Preview site — this is a test version of the Isfield Village Hall website. Nothing here is live, and bookings, payments and donations are not real.

Bring your event to the village

Run your event at the hall

Folk nights, craft fairs, quiz evenings, film screenings — if you have an idea and some energy, we'll help you put it on. Here's exactly how the money works.

A revenue share in plain English

You sell the tickets, we provide the room. Once ticket fees are paid, the money splits like this:

75%

To you, the organiser

Your time, your idea, your event — most of the money stays with you.

20%

To the hall

Covers the room, heating, lighting and wear and tear.

5%

Card processing

The unavoidable cut taken by whoever processes the ticket payment.

Every organiser's exact split is agreed and confirmed in writing before their first event — the figures above are a guide, not a promise.

What the hall provides

  • The main hall or a side room, set up how you need it
  • Tables, chairs, the kitchen and the bar if you want it
  • A listing on our events page and ticketing built in
  • Someone on site to open up, help with setup and lock up after
  • Wifi, heating and a proper PA if your event needs one

What we ask of you

  • Public liability insurance for your event (we can point you to a policy)
  • Leave the space as you found it, or better
  • Reasonable notice if you need to change or cancel a date
  • Play fair with the split — it's what keeps the hall standing

Tell us a little about what you'd like to put on. A trustee will review your application and come back with your revenue share and next steps.
