Get involved
Isfield Village Hall is run entirely by volunteers. Every hour given keeps hire rates low and the hall open for the whole village.
Where help is needed
Without volunteers to hold keys and cover events, the hall has to turn bookings away — that's income the charity relies on. Here's a taste of what volunteers do, and where we're short right now.
Keyholder
Open up, lock up, and be the point of contact on the night.
Bar
Serve drinks at hall events — a licence briefing is provided.
Setup & takedown
Tables, chairs and the room plan before and after events.
Door & welcome
Greet hirers and guests, check tickets, answer questions.
Gardening & grounds
Keep the grounds tidy — as little or as often as you like.
Trustee
Help run the charity: finances, bookings, strategy.
